First let me start with SAP.What is SAP?I don't think everybody will be knowing about that word.But it is an important term in the software industry.SAP is the world's second largest business software company and the third-largest independent software provider in terms of revenues.It was founded by five former IBM engineers Dietmar Hopp,Hans-Werner Hector,Hasso Plattner,Klaus Tschira, and Claus Wellenreuther in 1972 as Systemanalyse und Programmentwicklung ("System analysis and program development").It was later changed to stand for Systeme, Anwendungen und Produkte in der Datenverarbeitung ("Systems, Applications and Products in Data Processing").
1972 was the release of the first solution called SAP R/1.Its continuation was later released in 1979 named as SAP R/2.SAP changed its trend from mainframe computing to the client server architectures.when it released its third version R/3 in 1981.The company operates from its three regions -Europe middle east and Africa.
